Privacy Policy for Mathzy: Math Games for Kids

This Privacy Policy explains how Mathzy ("we", "us") handles information in the Mathzy: Math Games for Kids app ("Mathzy" or "the app") on Android and iOS.

Mathzy is made for children, and we built it to collect as little information as possible.

1. Summary

• No ads and no advertising trackers
• No in-app purchases
• No sign-up, login or account
• We do not ask for your child's name, email, photo, location or any other personal information
• Learning progress is stored only on your device
• The app works offline

2. Information stored on the device only

Mathzy saves the following on your device so the app works:

• Learning progress, levels, stars, coins, XP, badges and streaks
• Settings you choose, such as grade, language, color theme, buddy character, sound and reminder settings
• Mistake history used for the parent report and the review feature

This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and we do not upload it to any server. If you delete the app, this data is deleted too.

3. Information processed by third-party services

Firebase Remote Config (Google)
We use Firebase Remote Config to update app settings (for example, content or difficulty settings) without releasing a new version. To do this, the app sends Google a random app-instance identifier and basic technical information, such as the app version, device operating system, and language or region settings. This information is not linked to your child's identity and is not used for advertising. Learn more in Google's privacy policy and Firebase's privacy information.

In-app review prompt
The app may show the standard Google Play or Apple App Store review prompt, and only in a parent-appropriate way. Any rating or review is handled by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies. We do not receive any personal information from it.

4. Notifications

Mathzy can send an optional daily practice reminder. It is off by default and only turns on if you enable it in the app. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and no information is sent to us.

5. Permissions

Mathzy only asks for:

• Notifications: only if you turn on the daily reminder
• Internet access: used only to fetch app settings through Firebase Remote Config. The app works fully offline.

The app does not access the camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location.

6. Children's privacy

Mathzy is designed for children. We follow:

• The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States
• The UK Age Appropriate Design Code
• The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including its rules on children's data
• Google Play Families Policy and Apple App Store Kids Category guidelines

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app has no chat, no social features, no external links for children, and no ads. The parent area is protected by a parental gate.

If you believe any personal information from your child has reached us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone. We do not use any data for advertising or profiling.

8. Data security

Progress data stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security. Data sent to Firebase travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK, US and Canada), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information. Because we do not store personal information on our servers, you can remove all app data by deleting the app or clearing its data in your device settings. 10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
